This app is not a complete JLPT vocabulary set. The launch dataset is an editor-curated selection across N5-N1:
Total: 7,027 curated words (not all JLPT vocabulary; JLPT N1 alone covers 10,000+ words).
Study progress stays on your device. The app does not upload your word history to a server we operate. A JSON backup is available from Settings if you want to copy it yourself.
The app may contact Expo's update service for version checks, and Google AdMob for ads. Those requests do not include your review grades or word list.
We do not use a first-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK. Google AdMob may collect advertising and device signals as described in the Privacy Policy.
Yes. After you finish a regular study, weakness review, or reading session, a full-screen Google AdMob ad may appear. Ads are not shown while you are grading a card.
New users get a short grace period. After that, ads are capped (about one ad every two completed sessions, at most three per day, and at least ten minutes apart). If an ad fails to load, you still reach the completion screen.
On iOS you will see the system tracking prompt. Declining still lets you study; ads may continue as non-personalized ads.
There is no automatic sync, but manual backup is available:
Please email the word, level, current meaning/reading, and the correction suggestion to the support email above.
No. This app is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the JLPT organizers.
